Why should I contribute?
- For the simple reason that you are a Hyderabadi or just adore this place
! - This is one of those places where you could show people what great a place we have! Be it Socially, Religiously or even Politically, Hyderabad has always been a beautiful place to be in. The sense of brotherhood has always been there, come what may. Help your little bit in maintaining that tempo!
- You get to know a whole bunch of people who share your interests!
- Age no bar, Sex no bar
- And finally, it’s one of those umpteen number of ways you can give back to your society.
A few things to be kept in mind :
- I’ve started the Hyderabad Simplified Online Project (HSOP) on a free to society basis. It should and WILL remain so! That said, no ads will be posted in this site whatever be the circumstance.
- No one is paid monetarily for his/her contribution. I very much wish I could, but that is not going to happen in the near future because I’m just one amongst you. Even I don’t get a dime from this! Well, but rest assured. You will be given due credit and recognition for the contribution that you’ve made in this project and we’ll soon have goodies to keep you motivated
- Contribute when you’re free! Just a few minutes a day would do.
- The very reason why people should be visiting this site should be because of the plethora of information that would be available all in one site. That’s a long way to go but it WILL happen!
- You need not be a high funda person to post things here. Just contribute! All you need to know is some down to earth formatting skills and knowledge ( however little it may be) on the happenings in this royal city! It is just about taking that first initiative. The moment you are in, you’ll have people helping you out and you’ll soon realize what a great community we have here!
- Do keep a watch on the Editor’s note link on the main page. We’ll keep posting important modifications in this space.
So, how do I contribute?
Pretty simple!
Once you get in touch with me, I’d give you the rights to post in this space. It’ll take sometime till you get a hang of things on Word press, so initially your posts would be moderated. Probably after a few days you’d be given full control on what you post.
Finally, There are just three things that I request you to do.
Contribute : It doesn’t matter how much, but just do your little bit! You have a wide range of topics where you can help!
Comment : This is your space and I’m open to ideas and suggestions to make this a better place!
Spread the word : Have a blog or a site? Please let people know about this project. We need support!

nice effort! Do you want to take RSS feeds from other blogs? For example, I can put a category “Hyderabad” and give you the RSS feed. That way, you can get syndicated content from other blog sites also here. That works easier than you giving access to someone and people like me blogging at multiple places.

How about adding a section on Jobs or Career Fairs. This would be of interest to graduating students. Perhaps you could add a list of Career Fairs that are happening in the city. Come March/April, most companies would be looking for employees..

We’ll be flooded with requests to accept CV’s then!
Probably we’ll venture into that once we have a wider support group. Anyways, shall try to update on the career fairs in the ‘Current Events’ section. That’s a good tip!

Replying to this comment a little late. But for now, I think updating the Career fairs in the Current Events section makes perfect sense..and no..I don’t think people will flood you with resumes. This is supposed to be a info blog..ain’t it ?

How about adding a section on good resteraunts and schools..Info on resteraunts would be helpful to a new visitor and like wise info on schools.

I’m currently working on the restaurants part. Plan to visit a couple of restaurants when I’m free, explain to the owner what this is all about and get him to collect feedback from his regular customers. Let’s see how it works!
Currently scouting for active contributors.At least for the first few months, most of my posts would reflect that!

As I am a professional content writer, I can wirte anything… You can see my blog….. Indianized Universe…. you can get a doubt … if it is indianized then it should be indianiSed and not indianiZed…
