Childline India Foundation primarily supported by The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment – Government of India has come up with an initiative of having a one stop phone helpline for children. Any child in Distress or in need of help may now call the toll free number 1098 for assisstance. More about this initiative at their webportal here .
Next time you see a street kid or just anyone’s kid in need of help, all you need to do is dial 1098. Spread word of 1098 to every kid that you come across. You never know when they may find it useful!

Akin to JustDial , Google India has initiated voice search in Hyderabad. People in Hyderabad can now dial the toll free number 1800 41 99 99 99 to get to know the in and out of Hyderabad. Be it food, directions, locations – just anything that comes to your mind!
Believe Vodafone customers cannot make use of this facility as the service does not support toll free numbers for now.

A group of like minded people in Hyderabad, India have joined hands to fight global warming. This initiative requires support from the general public for this to be a huge success. The idea is to switch off all the electrical appliances between 7:30 PM and 8:30 PM on May 3, 2008 in order to show support to this cause. The organization has been named Hyderabad Unplug and the initiative is captioned “May 3rd Ko LIGHT MAT LO”. You may check their website to know more about this initiative.

I’d been to this place yesterday night for dinner. Pretty good ambience and service! You get all north indian stuff and the rates are pretty economical!

Take a left at the OU arch ( Vidyanagare side) and keep moving straight on the Shivam road. You’d find this place to your right side. They’ve got a huge hoarding and it’s pretty easy to locate it.

How much would it cost you?
Temporary Registration: Rs 15/- ( Rs 100/- for Financed Vehicles)
Permanent Registration: Rs. 60/- for 2Wheelers and Rs. 200/- for Cars.
Way too cheaper than what the Broker costs you and now the service is pretty fast. So why go the wrong way round?
