The Micro Entrepreneurship Development Centre [MEDC] in collaboration with Chrysalis Consultants plans to launch ‘Marodari’ Cab service – A cab service aiming at providing economical cab transport in Hyd. Targetting at arranging cabs metered at rates of 8Rs. to 10Rs. per kilometer and planning to roll them out by December, the Non Profit organisation is planning to facilitate the formulation of a Driver’s Co-operative society. Members of this society would be given a 20pc. subsidy under the Rajeev Yuva Shakthi programme.
To be a part of this society a person needs to
- Be a resident of Hyderabad / RangaReddy district
- Be in the age group of 18-35
- Have a minimum education of 10
- Have an Annual income of less than Rs. 50,000 P.A [ to avail the subsidy]
