Frequent by passers on the Tank Bund road would have noticed the wonderful change that’s been happening around there. The lake looks much cleaner what with the government bringing out measures to avoid people filthying the place. Bypass channels for untreated sewerage is being constructed and mighty efforts are on to clear the floating garbage and hyacinth growth.
NGO’s are doing their bit by helping in organising awareness campaigns and lake vounteering activities. The change IS happening!
