Most Auto rickshaws in Hyderabad are now equipped with Digital meters and those that are found to be plying on the roads sans them would be seized from Feb’ 1st. In case the driver refrains from using it, you can right away call the RTA with the toll free number 1074 and register a complaint. Hope things change for good with these initiatives!

the is not valid.plz provide valid no so that we can put complaints against auto regarding not using meter . they dont use meter and they are asking for double and triple auto fair.plz help us.

There’s no reason why I should be providing an invalid number and by no means am I the head of the Anti-Digital meter propaganda group
Probably you couldn’t get the line across because of connectivity issues. I’m currently out of the state for a span of about six months..so someone else will have to cross check on this. Actually, You may want to check with the closest RTA office and revert back!

Today’s Newspaper states the toll free number as 1073. You may want to give that a shot.
